PAWPADS

PAWPADS puts a furry spin on the Shinjuku Ni-chome gay bar experience, from decor right down to its paw-print name. Open since November 2023, it welcomes first-timers and non-furry local regulars alike, with counter and booth seating, an English menu, and plenty of furry travellers passing through.

Finding the door involves a small upstairs adventure, but once you’re there, expect drinks, friendly staff and a ¥2,000 cover charge.
