• Ipanema Beach: Ipanema is more relaxed than Copacabana but still lively. It’s divided into sections, with a dedicated LGBTQ+ spot around Posto 9. Both of these beaches get very busy, although Ipanema can feel more crowded as it’s smaller than Copacabana Beach.
